A Spooktacular Recap of the NPS Halloween Photo Contest!

Costumes, kiddos, and…Uncle Cleetus?? Our second annual NPS Halloween Photo Contest was a frightfully fun success, bringing together creativity, laughter, and just the right amount of spooky spirit across our virtual team.

This year’s contest invited submissions across three categories:

• Kids 

• Adults 

• Bonus Round: Best Halloween Decor (from Day of the Dead celebrations to pumpkin-packed porches)

We received a fantastic mix of costumes and decor — from tiny trick-or-treaters to shark dogs..

🎉 And the adult winner was…

Our IT expert Tom took home the top prize with his unforgettable “Uncle Cleetus” costume — missing teeth and all!

Runners-up included Madelyn as Steve Irwin (RIP), Natalie as Arthur Fleck’s The Joker (always fun putting your conference suit to good use), and Patti as Cleopatra, .

The best part? This contest was a virtual celebration that brought our team together in a fun, engaging way — no matter where we were. From submitting photos to voting on favorites, it was a great reminder that Halloween isn’t just for kids… it’s for anyone who loves a good laugh and a little bit of spooky flair.

Thanks to everyone who participated and made this tradition one to remember. We’re already looking forward to next year’s costumes — and yes, Tom, we’re not sure how you’ll top Uncle Cleetus, but we believe in you.
